Gabby posts photos from Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.

Brian flies home to Florida from Salt Lake City to "obtain some items" and empty and close a storage unit to save money, his attorney says.

AUGUST 19

Gabby's father, Joseph Petito, last speaks with his daughter in a FaceTime call. He helps her order a pizza in Salt Lake City and talks to her about the trip so far.

He later says he noticed no red flags during the conversation.

AUGUST 21

Brian flies back to Salt Lake City to "rejoin Gabby," according to his attorney.

AUGUST 23

Gabby's mother, Nichole Schmidt, last speaks with her daughter on the phone while Gabby was near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.

AUGUST 25

Gabby's mother receives an "odd text" that leaves her worried something is wrong, according to a search warrant.

Gabby and Brian visit a restaurant in Wyoming. Staff members and other diners later recall an unspecified "incident" with the couple.

AUGUST 27

Gabby's mother receives a final text from Gabby but does not confirm over the phone it was her.

AUGUST 30

Brian Laundrie uses a Capitol One Bank debit card and personal ID number for two bank accounts to spend $1,000 in Wyoming and elsewhere, court documents show. He's later indicted for use of unauthorized access devices, leading to a federal arrest warrant.

Gabby's mom calls North Port police in hopes of filing a missing person report. Police tell her the report needs to be filed in Gabby's last known location.

Police place an abandoned vehicle notice on Brian's Mustang outside Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.

Brian's family attorney releases a statement saying the Laundries hope "the search for Miss Petito is successful" and that Brian's family would be "remaining in the background."

Gabby's family responds in a statement, asking Brian to cooperate and provide answers to "critical questions."

FBI agents confirm the body found in Wyoming is Gabby Petito and rule the manner of death a homicide, with the cause of death yet to be determined. Law enforcement agencies continue their search for person of interest Brian Laundrie at Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County.

FBI officials issue a federal arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie in connection with the Gabby Petito investigation, pursuant to a federal grand jury indictment.

SEPTEMBER 23

The FBI obtains a phone purchased by Brian Laundrie shortly before his return to Florida without Gabby Petito, as well as surveillance video from the Laundrie family's camping trip to Fort De Soto campground.

SEPTEMBER 29

Agents with the FBI visit the Laundrie family's North Port home, spend some time in the house and briefly check the family's camper in the driveway before leaving with a bag. The family's attorney says agents were collecting personal items to help in the search for Brian.

SEPTEMBER 30

Brian Laundrie's dad Chris joins law enforcement at the Carlton Reserve to assist in the search for his son.

OCTOBER 7

Gabby Petito's cause of death is ruled strangulation with the manner of death homicide, Teton County's coroner announces. He says it's believed she died three to four weeks before her body was found.

OCTOBER 12

Partial human remains are found at the Carlton Reserve during the search for Brian Laundrie. The remains are found near some of his belongings as his parents join law enforcement to search.

OCTOBER 20

The FBI positively identifies the remains found in the Carlton Reserve as those of Brian Laundrie.
